University of Alabama cardiologist explaining current heart treatment procedure to Edward M. and Eddie Blackwelder. The patient, a Kentucky coal miner, was sent to UAB as a final effort at life saving medical heart procedure. Dr. Blackwelder prayed with this elderly patient and reported that several weeks later this "sent to die" patient returned to his Kentucky home.
